Questions

What brands ask before a walkthrough.

Do we need Shopify or WooCommerce?

No. Commerce OS includes the storefront, checkout and payments, so you can run your brand on it alone — nothing to install, no plugins to manage. If you already have Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or a custom cart, it can connect as an optional integration instead.

Is the setup really free?

Yes. Our team sets up your store, moves your catalogue, connects payments and delivery, and trains your team — at no charge. You pay nothing up to 100 orders a month, then ₹6–₹10 per order. No lock-in.

Do we need a developer or tech team?

No. We host the platform and handle security, updates, backups and integrations (payments, couriers, WhatsApp, GST). Setup and catalogue migration are done by our team; your staff only use the screens.

What does the storefront look like?

A modern, fast storefront designed mobile-first and polished on desktop — the kind of shopping experience large consumer brands build in-house: quick search, one-tap reorders, a four-field checkout and pincode-aware delivery promises.

Which shipping and logistics partners does it work with?

Orders can go to your own riders, a courier aggregator, 3PL or hyperlocal partner through shipping integrations — manifests and status updates flow back automatically, so every order is tracked in one place whoever delivers it.

What reporting do we get?

One set of reports across the store, shipping, cash and books: sales, discounts, cancellations, delivery SLAs, cost per delivery, cash not yet banked and GST — filtered by day, area, PIN or product, or asked in plain English.

Do we need our own delivery riders?

No. Deliver with your own riders on the rider app, hand orders to a 3PL or hyperlocal partner over an API, or mix the two by pincode. Every order moves through the same states whichever way it goes.

How does COD cash tracking work?

Cash is tracked through each handover — rider to store, store to company — with the actor, amount and timestamp recorded at every step. Shortfalls are flagged the same day rather than found at month end.

Does it generate GST invoices and credit notes?

Yes. Tax invoices carry HSN and place of supply, are numbered consecutively per financial year, and credit notes are raised automatically on cancellation and return. A nightly check flags any gap in the invoice series.

How is it priced?

Per order, not per seat. Free up to 100 orders a month, then ₹10, ₹8 or ₹6 per order depending on monthly volume. Delivery operations add ₹2 and partner/3PL adapters ₹1 per delivered order. Cancelled orders are never billed, and there is no annual lock-in.

What languages does the rider app support?

English, Hinglish and Hindi, with thumb-sized targets built for a phone held in one hand.

What kind of brands is it built for?

D2C brands that deliver locally and sell to the same households again and again — fresh and perishable food, packaged food and grocery, bakery, dairy and meat, wellness and supplements.

What happens in the walkthrough?

A 30-minute session, not a slide deck. We load your catalogue into a sandbox cart, walk through the console and the courier app, and show a reconciliation report from a live store.
